Fasting from all types of Meat
Introduction: This is our Mid-Year time of Fasting and Prayer. Most consider the summer months to be months of rest, relaxation and rejuvenating. While that is true to some degree, let’s not forget we have an enemy that doesn’t go on vacation. We must stay spiritually aware at all time and if we do not, we become a prey for the enemy to attack.
Fasting and Prayer keeps us moving in the things of God and it also opens the door for spiritual victories.
The dates and times listed above are designated to pray for “Better Days Ahead.” God has promised us Grace and Blessings however the enemy fights in the spirit realm, so we must prepare ourselves for “Better Days” in the spirit realm.
Foundation Scripture: II Corinthians 10;3-5 “…3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ…”
Psalm 51:10-12 “…Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.…”
Heavenly Father, there is no one like you. You are kind and merciful. Today, I focus on Your indwelling presence, knowing You see everything and You know my heart, so I ask You to create in me a clean, clear and an unclouded heart, Then Father God, renew, refresh and revitalize a true and right spirit in me. Help me to see those things that will blind my heart from the truth of your Word. Do not allow me to go away or stray from Your presence. The Holy Spirit is welcome in my heart at all time. Holy Spirit, You are welcome today and every day, so I ask You to come into my heart and do Your best work. Lead me in clear paths as I prepare myself in the presence of Almighty God.
Father God, I believe You are preparing me for “Better Days,” and I know You are restoring the joy of my salvation. My total man prospers, spirit, soul and body. Thank You Father for upholding me with a liberating spirit. I am free to praise, worship and give You thanks for all You have do, doing and promised to do in the “Days Ahead,” in the name of Jesus, Amen!
